Are you ready to make a significant impact in the fields of nephrology, hematology, and neurology? AstraZeneca is seeking a results-oriented Brand Manager to join our Alpine team, supporting targeted marketing activities for designated brands and products spanning Switzerland and Austria. Your primary focus will be on a leading product operating within the complement system—an exciting and fast-evolving therapeutic area.

About the Role

As Brand Manager, you will collaborate closely with a small, agile cross-functional team to prepare and execute marketing strategies for assigned brands and indications. You’ll play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, adapting global campaigns to local needs, managing agency relationships, and ensuring materials are compliant and impactful. Strategic thinking and planning will be integral to your daily work, as you drive the successful implementation of brand plans and cross-functional initiatives in line with global and regional objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support or lead the strategic and tactical planning process for the Alpine region, ensuring alignment with global and regional teams

  • Adapt and localize global assets and campaigns for the Swiss and Austrian markets

  • Manage local production—including agencies—and oversee sign-off of marketing materials

  • Assist field colleagues with the analysis and classification of key accounts

  • Support and execute training programs for the sales team on relevant cross-functional activities

  • Track and follow up on strategic and tactical plan milestones and implementation

  • Drive and participate in cross-functional projects across Medical and Market Access, ensuring customer needs are met

  • Maintain a strong focus on customer insights and identifying growth opportunities

  • Oversee and manage the brand budget

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated pharma marketing skills and solid knowledge of ethical standards

  • Proven experience developing and executing robust brand plans in complex, scientific disease areas

  • Strong patient-centric approach and commitment to commercial innovation

  • Expertise in digital and traditional marketing channels

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities

  • Proficiency in German and English; French language skills are an asset

Qualifications and Mindset

  • Master’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent in Marketing

  • Hands-on, can-do attitude, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, underpinning cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong skills in planning, analysis, project management, and prioritization

  • Innovative, entrepreneurial spirit with a flair for out-of-the-box thinking
